IssimoQueenstown co-owner Kerrey Garvie loves shoes. She dreams of shoes. A hair stylist for nearly 20 years, shoes have forever been her passion. Even her beloved dog Maggie loves shoes - particularly Kerrey’s shoes. Heels, Italian boots, pumps - when Maggie had devoured over 12 precious pairs Kerrey put the dog outside and upped and left for Europe. To find shoes by the thousands. She and her husband Paul (in the sports shoe industry for 20 years) joined forces and opened Issimo Queenstown, bringing sensational shoes from all over the world downunder.

Such is Kerrey’s eye for style and quality shoes that Issimo Queenstown has rapidly become renowned among women here and overseas. From the elegance of high fashion brands such as Donna Carolina, Ixos, Oxitaly and L.K. Best part of Kerrey’s job? Shoe shopping. Twice a year she heads to Europe - to the small family run factories and design houses in Italy. Having established warm friendships with suppliers from Morocco, Spain, France and Italy, Kerrey returns with the gems of the world’s fashion boots, shoes and sandals (men’s and women’s) that make Issimo Queenstown unique.
